Dr. Nicolas Pereyra

Welcome to My Web Site

Here you will find information about my research, teaching, Tuesday telescope's nights, and know more about me. Currently I'm giving Astronomy lectures in the Department of Physics and Geology at UTPA.

I'm an Astrophysicist and a Computational Physicist with more than sixteen years of experience in these fields. Throughout this time I have developed and implemented time-dependent hydrodynamics numerical codes and plasma simulation codes. I work on the numerical simulation of accretion disk winds in cataclysmic variables and QSOs. Among my research interest is Unigrav, a theory on gravity consistent with the Special Theory of Relativity but independent of the General Theory of Relativity.

If you want to know more about myself, please surf this site and of course you always can contact me.
